The officers and directors of Patch International Inc. are seasoned veterans to the industry who provide a depth of knowledge and experience critical to realizing the corporate objectives.
Officers
- Jason G. Dagenais, P. Eng., Chief Operating Officer
- Jason joined the Patch team in January, 2007 as VP Operations, assuming the leadership of Patch’s oil sands operations. Jason’s specialty is exploitation engineering focusing on project management and reservoir engineering. Jason brings a disciplined, strategic approach to the selection and execution of projects and opportunistic asset acquisitions.
- Terry Buchanan, P. Eng., Vice President, Exploration, Geoscience and Reservoir
- Terry joined Patch in January, 2007. Terry has had extensive knowledge and experience on oil sands projects and all phases of oil and gas exploration and development, bringing over 30 years of specialization in reservoir description, hydrocarbon prospecting, completions and production. His early training with a major wire line service company coupled with his geotechnical and reservoir engineering proficiency at Imperial Oil has allowed Terry to foster a keen interest in exploiting oil field data to unlock commercial hydrocarbons.

- Michael S. Vandale, Chairman
- Mike brings to the table over 20 years experience in upstream oil and gas exploration and midstream operations in Canada, the United States and South America. Mike boasts a long list of successful oil and gas ventures, most notably Arsenal Energy Inc. (TSX: AEI), Cold Creek Capital Inc. (TSX-V: CCC.P), and owned the Calgary Storm in the North American A Soccer League from 2001 to 2003.
- Greg Belzberg
- Greg Belzberg brings extensive investment and finance experience to Patch, resulting from his responsibility over family and personal business matters. He has a B. A. in Business Administration from Georgetown University, and is currently a partner in a real estate development and investment company located in Los Angeles, California.
- Mark Bentsen
- Mark is the founder, president and chief executive officer of a drilling service company with a market capitalization of over $300 million, revenues over $100 million and over 650 employees. Mr. Bentsen has had over 16 years oilfield experience and 4 years directional experience.
- Rod Maxwell
- Rod holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary. He brings a broad base of expertise from both private and public industries through his experience with KPMG Chartered Accountants. Most recently, Rod is the managing director for a private equity investment firm that invests in growing private companies.
